EGERTON have reached the next stage of the Altrincham and District FA Senior Cup after a 3-1 success at Unicorn.
The Knutsford outfit wore a new strip, paid for by sponsor Ashley Mowers, for their knockout victory to set up a home date with Sale Town next month.
They could not repeat the trick on their return to action in the Altrincham and District Amateur League top tier though.
They ended up going down 3-0 at AFC Quarry.
