From PCSO to PC for Andy

KNUTSFORD Rural PCSO Andy Dolan will leave his post this month.
PC Mike Dawber said: “I am sure many of the members will agree that Andy’s familiar face, enthusiasm and drive will be missed by the community.
“It is due to these qualities that Andy has continued to demonstrate throughout his three years working with the Knutsford Ruralwatch scheme, that he has been rewarded with a new post within Cheshire Constabulary as a fully warranted Police Constable.
“Andy has worked tirelessly during his time, patrolling rural areas, holding police surgeries, assisting with co-ordinating the Ruralwatch scheme, attending parish council meetings, arranging road safety initiatives on rural roads and working closely with Little Bollington Primary School.
“He has also been instrumental with the success of the Ruralwatch scheme.”
