Steve scoots over to deliver the milk
8:30pm Friday 27th January 2012

A KNUTSFORD dairy delivered milk to one of its best customers in a different way on Monday morning – on a three-wheeled scooter.
Steve Edwards, from Sheldons, popped into the Courtyard cafe on Monday on his BSA Ariel 3 to deliver their daily order.
Steve said: “The three-wheeler is a BSA Ariel 3 made in 1970, it was made when the company was nearly broke and this helped to see it off.
“It was aimed at a female/shopping market, but failed on both counts, costing BSA thousands in unwanted and unsold stock. I bought it and have restored it as a bit of fun and to advertise Sheldons The reason I bought a BSA is because I own a couple of them and am an active member of the South Cheshire BSA club.”
The BSA club meets twice a month at the Whipping Stocks Pub in Over Peover.
You don’t have to own a bike, but have an interest in anything BSA. The next meeting is tomorrow at 7.45pm.
